Ze steelt de harten van tal van inwoners en slaagt erin zich permanent te vestigen. Van bij haar aankomst krijgt het dorp te maken met onregelmatigheden die, naarmate haar aanwezigheid blijft duren, steeds maar hallucinantere en dodelijkere vormen aannemen. Uiteindelijk blijkt dat Sela niet is wie of wat ze beweert te zijn. Ze heeft een welbepaald doel en ontziet niets of niemand om dat te bereiken. Door haar toedoen krijgen de nietsvermoedende dorpelingen af te rekenen met een onvoorstelbaar kwaad dat zich op verrassende manieren in Westhaven verspreidt en een heus cataclysme dreigt te worden. Iedereen reageert op zijn of haar eigen manier.</ins></div></td></tr> </table>
